How do Direct Pay and Insurance Work for a Concierge Service?

At Equestrian Orthopedic Solutions, we operate as a direct-pay orthopedic concierge service, meaning we do not bill insurance for our visits or procedures.

However, many of the services we recommend—such as X-rays or bracing—may still be covered by your insurance when accessed through outside providers.

Can I still use my insurance if I pay you directly?

You can pay for your evaluation and submit a superbill to your insurance which may be reimbursed for related services, such as:

• Imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT)

• Durable medical equipment (braces, walking boots, splints)

• Physical therapy

• Labs or other outside diagnostics

We do not coordinate insurance billing.

What happens if I need imaging or bracing?

We'll give you a written order or referral to reputable imaging centers and DME suppliers in the Wellington, FL area.

Can I get reimbursed for the visit?

In many cases, yes.

• We will provide a detailed itemized receipt (superbill) upon request.

• You may be able to submit this to your HSA or FSA for reimbursement.

• Check with your plan administrator to confirm your benefits.

What we do NOT do:
